Working closely with the client, Garden Residence is an example of great client and architect collaboration, to create a sculptural house that responds to the challenges of a narrow, east west site with tight recession planes and an elevated slab due to flood zone constraints. 

Conceived as a series of connected volumes, the house provides a range of atmospheric volumes articulated by the shift in daylight, sky andseason. Deep reveals provide shelter from the elements, shade, privacy and articulation to create a detailed and animated house to live within and observe. 

The near wall to wall street front façade opens out to a daylit series of sheltered courtyards maximising site and daylight.
